Abstract submission opening day: 14 November 2016
Abstract submission deadline: 17 February 2017
Please note that our publication submission policies have changed. Click here for more information.
A CERN Lightweight account is required in order to submit an abstract. To create a new account or manage an existing account, visit CERN lightweight accounts.
All abstracts submitted must use the form provided and meet the IEEE standards of originality and quality. Abstracts are limited to 500 words and should explicitly indicate the elements of the research that are new (in contrast to previous abstracts submitted to other conferences)— this will aid in the abstract review process.
Abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee and authors will be notified of acceptance and of the presentation format (oral or poster) by March 15, 2017. Once abstracts have been officially accepted for presentation at SOFE 2017, registered participants will be allowed to submit their presentations and posters via this website, which will constitute the proceedings of this symposium. Full length papers will be submitted to IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science.
Note: student authors wishing to be considered for the best student paper award should select YES on the drop-down menu during the abstract submission process.
